  1. Platform Overview & Intermediary Status
  • www.mylocalbazaar.in ("Platform", "We", "Us") operates strictly as a multi-vendor e-commerce marketplace and technology platform that connects local buyers ("You", "Customer") with independent local sellers ("Vendors").
  • The Platform acts solely as an Intermediary under Section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000. The contract for the purchase and sale of any goods or services on the Platform is strictly between You and the respective Vendor.
  1. Orders & Direct Payments
  • Direct Vendor Payment Model: Payments for products listed on www.mylocalbazaar.in are made directly by You to the seller via the vendor's payment modes (e.g., direct UPI, QR codes, bank transfer, or cash on delivery).
  • No Payment Gateway Escrow: The Platform does not process, hold, or handle payments, nor does it act as a payment escrow or seller of record.
  • Invoicing: The Vendor is solely responsible for providing tax invoices (GST where applicable) and fulfilling orders.
  1. Product Listings, Pricing, and Quality
  • Product descriptions, images, availability, and pricing are managed directly by the respective Vendors.
  • While we encourage accurate listings, www.mylocalbazaar.in does not guarantee the quality, safety, authenticity, or legality of items offered for sale. Vendors bear 100% legal liability for the products they sell.
  1. Shipping, Returns, and Refunds
  • Fulfillment: Shipping and local fulfillment are managed directly by the Vendor or their designated local logistics providers.
  • Returns & Refunds: Policies regarding returns, cancellations, and refunds are governed by individual Vendor store policies published on their listings. Buyers must direct refund requests directly to the respective Vendor.
  1. Limitation of Liability
  • www.mylocalbazaar.in shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential loss or damage arising out of contracts between buyers and Vendors, delayed deliveries, or defective items.
